Sometimes, it may look like you have not done much to be recognized or accepted in that place, but if you are serious about the call of God in your life, amazing testimonies will follow.

Beloved, the Lord our God works in amazing ways to bring great glory to His name. To be counted worthy of God’s divine agenda, let’s walk worthy to His praise and glory.

The word of the Lord in Luke chapter 10 from verse 1 says,

“Now after this the Lord chose and appointed seventy others and sent them out ahead of Him, two by two, into every town and place where He Himself was about to come (visit).”

Beloved, it is a great honour for the Lord to count you worthy to step out in His name. For you to be given this unique opportunity, then you must be careful to bring the all the glory. When you step out like this, please don’t let it become an opportunity to struggle for yourself, stay focused on the leading of the Lord. Remember, when you step out, you must be careful to bring God all the praise for this is not about yourself, it is about the Lord, so be careful to draw your attention to the Lord.

When you are careful to bring the Lord the glory, amazing testimonies will follow. When the disciples of the Lord return with a joyful praise, the word of the Lord says,

“And He said to them, The harvest indeed is abundant [there is much ripe grain], but the farmhands are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Beloved, this verse of scripture tells us that there are so many set aside for a glorious encounter with the Lord if we will be bold to step out in His name. If we will follow the divine instruction of the Lord, He will send out laborers into His harvest field to reach out to the souls that has been there, waiting for a glorious intervention. They may not look like it right now, but when we step out after much prayer in the name of the Lord, amazing things will follow.

When we step out as God’s children, the word of the Lord says to us in verse 3 and 4,

“Go your way; behold, I send you out like lambs into the midst of wolves.

4 Carry no purse, no provisions bag, no [change of] sandals; refrain from [retarding your journey by] saluting and wishing anyone well along the way.”

This passage went on to tell us of the need to become conscious and careful as lamb in the midst of wolves. In other words, there will be some who are out there to frustrate us but we must never be careless.

The Lord sent them out without anything like purse, provision bag, or change of sandals. It was a step by faith and except it is impactful, they knew that things will be hard, so they went out trusting God for things to be very impactful. The word of the Lord says as they went, the Lord instructed them to avoid “…saluting and wishing anyone well along the way.” This is because if they go by that Journey, there will be too much distraction.

In addition, they were told in verses 5 and 6,

“Whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this household!

Freedom from all the distresses that result from sin be with this family].

6 And if anyone [worthy] of peace and blessedness is there, the peace and blessedness you wish shall come upon him; but if not, it shall come back to you.”

The Lord made them see that when they approach a house, they were thought of the need to command the household to be free from all the distresses that result from sin with that family. The word of the Lord says if there is anyone worthy of this heavenly peace, it shall come on that individual. But if there is none, the blessing spoken over that place will return to you. And there is a great need for us to be really conscious of this.

Beloved, whenever we step out under the leading of the Lord, we must be careful to do this according to the Lord’s leading and if we are careful to follow this instruction, amazing testimonies will manifest. Shalom!
