Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver; and instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. [Instead of the tyranny of the present] I will appoint peace as your officers and righteousness as your taskmasters. Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders, but you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise. The sun shall no more be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you, but the Lord shall be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory and your beauty.
Contemplation
The Lord our God is indeed worthy of all the praise and the glory. Who can be compared with the Lord our God! From generation to generation He continually reigns to show He is God of all. To Jesus be all the praise and the glory in amazing ways. When the Lord speaks, the word spoken becomes mightily established. There is just no one worthy of the glory, praise and honor. Hallelujah! To our God indeed be the adoration forever and ever.
The Lord our God is indeed worthy to be praised.
From verse 17 in Isaiah 60, the word of the Lord says,
“Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver; and instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. [Instead of the tyranny of the present] I will appoint peace as your officers and righteousness as your taskmasters.”
The Lord our God is far greater than what we can calculate. For each of the things that we have in store, the Lord our God has something much more glorious to help lift us up to the next level. He said, instead of bronze we will have gold….. wow!!! If we will follow the leading of the Lord, He is willing and ready to take us higher to a greater level. Remember, there is always something more glorious to show to a greater glory.
The Lord went on to say in verse 18,
“Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders, but you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.”
It is a great and beautiful plan that the Lord our God has in store for us. The wicked plans of the evil ones are been made useless in Jesus mighty name. The Lord, in His glory, has made the plan for His people to be continually glorious. This empowers us to call our wall Salvation and your gates Praise. In other words, the mercies of the Lord keep us from any harassment and it gives us greater joy and confidence when we come in with thanks giving and great rejoicing.
What a glorious God we serve! Hallelujah! This is indeed a great manifestation of what the Almighty can do.
In verse 19, the word of the Lord says,
“The sun shall no more be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you, but the Lord shall be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory and your beauty.”
Without doubt, this is a glorious manifestation far greater than what we have known on the face of the earth. The Lord our God will replace the light of the sun and the moon and nothing can be compared with the manifestation of the Lord’s glory that is now been revealed to the whole world. Hallelujah! For when this begins to show forth, the Lord our God in His mercies has revealed to us the everlasting light and the glory of His presence. Beloved, it is a greater joy that the Lord our God has given us the privilege to forever encounter the beauty of His presence. To our God be all the praise and the glory forever. Amen and amen.
Practical issues
Beloved, there is something far greater than what we think we know. When that glorious moment arrives, we will forever encounter and live in the blessings of His awesome presence. Hallelujah! To Jesus be all the glory and the honor. Amen. Thank You Jesus.
