All the kings of the land shall give You credit and praise You, O Lord, for they have heard of the promises of Your mouth [which were fulfilled]. 5 Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord and joyfully celebrate His mighty acts, for great is the glory of the Lord. My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. … will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
Contemplation
The Lord our God reigns forever and ever. The blessings of the Lord our God makes a glorious difference upon the soul that trust in the Lord. This individual has come to acknowledge the divine presence of the Lord continually releasing the help for a greater glory.
In the book of Psalm chapter 138, from verses 4 and 5, the word of the Lord says,
“All the kings of the land shall give You credit and praise You, O Lord, for they have heard of the promises of Your mouth [which were fulfilled].
5 Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord and joyfully celebrate His mighty acts, for great is the glory of the Lord.”
When we encounter the amazing blessings of the Lord, our hearts pour out praises to the Lord for great and glorious things He has done. They begin to sing joyfully to the Lord celebrating His mighty acts. To Jesus be all the praise and the glory. This is the reason why the writer of Psalms 121 went on to say,
“My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” It is amazing that this is talking about the glorious blessings of the Lord our God. In verse 3 the word acknowledges that the Lord is the one who “… will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber.”
There is this place where the presence of the Lord our God continually manifests a great dimension of glory that cannot be hindered by forces. To our God be all the glory. He who began this work in our midst will definitely bring it to pass in Jesus mighty name.
According to the word of the Lord in verse 4,
“Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”
The Lord our God is forever faithful to His promises and in the fullness of time we will see that the Lord is indeed faithful to His promises in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
